Danika's Story

Danika was a shy, timid child until that fateful trip to zMax Dragway in Charlotte, NC to watch the NHRA race. Walking into the venue Danika immediately spotted the Jr. Dragsters on display while the drivers signed autographs and she was hooked. She spoke of nothing else for months until Christmas arrived and she was given her first Jr. Dragster. After a few failed attempts at giving it gas, she was OFF and hasn't looked back since. Drag racing has brought Danika out of her shell and given her a confidence in herself she would not otherwise have gained.

Since joining the PDRA in 2019, Danika has had numerous Top 10 finishes in the PDRA World Championships and multiple PDRA ProStars Appearances. Danika began double duty driving with the addition of her Top Dragster in 2023. 2025 marks the last season in her Jr. Dragster before she takes on the Top Dragster scene full time in 2026.
